February 2026
Snowdrop Weekends at Lytham Hall

Dates: Every weekend throughout February

Time: 10:00 am to 4:30 pm

Age Range: All ages. A lovely, gentle walk through the grounds for everyone from toddlers to seniors.

 

Live at Lytham Hall Talk: Richard Ansdell RA

Date: Thursday 26 February

Time: 2:00 pm

Age Range: Primarily adults and seniors interested in local art history.

 

Sounds in the Palace at St Annes Palace

Dates: Various dates through April

Time: Check local listings for specific performance times

Age Range: All ages. These are community focused indoor music sessions.

Mad Ruggers Workshop at Lytham Hall

Date: Sunday 1 March

Time: Morning and afternoon sessions

Age Range: Older children, teens, and adults. Best for those with the patience for a craft project.

 

Arm Knitting Workshop at Lytham Hall

Jason Fox: Embrace The Chaos

Date: Thursday 19 March

Time: 7:30 pm at Lowther Pavilion

Age Range: Adults and older teens (14+ recommended due to the nature of the stories).

 

Forest Bathing Experience at Lytham Hall

Date: Sunday 22 March

Time: 10:00 am and 1:30 pm

Age Range: Strictly 18 and over. This is a wellness focused session designed for quiet reflection.

Daniel O’Reilly: Let’s Have It!

Date: Friday 3 April at Lowther Pavilion

Time: Evening performance

Age Range: Adults (18+ suggested for comedy content).

 

Lytham Hall Easter Family Fun Day

Date: Sunday 5 April

Time: 11:00 am to 3:00 pm

Age Range: Specifically for children and their families. Includes egg hunts and a bouncy castle.

 

Imagine Lennon at Lowther Pavilion

Date: Wednesday 8 April

Time: 7:30 pm

Age Range: All ages. A tribute show for music fans of every generation.

 

Lytham Hall Flower Festival

Dates: Thursday 9 April to Tuesday 14 April

Time: 11:00 am to 4:00 pm

Age Range: All ages. Includes kids' crafts alongside the floral displays.

 

Robbie Williams Tribute: Let Me Entertain You

Date: Friday 24 April at Lowther Pavilion

Time: Evening show

Age Range: All ages. High energy fun for the whole family.

 

Summer Highlights 2026
Lytham Festival at Lytham Green

Dates: Wednesday 1 July to Sunday 5 July

Time: Gates typically open at 5:00 pm

Age Range: All ages. Under 16s must be with an adult. It is a very safe and family friendly festival.

 

DigCamp and DigClub at Lytham Hall

Dates: 21 to 26 July (varying sessions)

Age Range: DigCamp is for ages 6 to 11, and DigClub is for ages 12 to 16. Brilliant for budding archaeologists.

 

St Annes Music Festival in Ashton Gardens

Dates: Saturday 29 August to Monday 31 August

Time: Afternoon and evening

Age Range: All ages. A free community event that is perfect for families.

 

St Annes International Kite Festival

Dates: Friday 4 September to Sunday 6 September

Time: Starts 12:00 pm Friday (including night kites)

Age Range: All ages. This is one of the best events in the region for children.

Blackpool

Blackpool is hitting its stride as we move into the spring season. Since it is currently late February, I have focused on the events starting from now through the upcoming months.

February 2026

Derren Brown: Only Human

Dates: Tuesday 24 February to Saturday 28 February

Time: 2:30 pm and 7:30 pm at Blackpool Grand Theatre

Age Range: Not suitable for under 12s. A mind bending experience from the master of psychological illusion.

 

The Magic of Motown

Date: Friday 27 February

Time: 7:30 pm at the Opera House, Winter Gardens

Age Range: All ages. A high energy tribute to the legends of Motown.

 

A Year of Storytime Fun

Date: Ongoing through March

Time: Various sessions (e.g., 10:00 am at South Family Hub)

Age Range: 0 to 4 years. Interactive sessions with themed play and sensory activities.

Immersive Silent Disco (80s, 90s & 00s)

Date: Saturday 7 March

Time: Evening (check specific slots) at the Spanish Hall, Winter Gardens

Age Range: Primarily adults (18+), though some afternoon sessions in Blackpool are often 14+ with an adult.

 

Blackpool Restaurant Week

42nd Street

Age Range: All ages. A classic, tap-dancing musical spectacular that is great for families.

 

Blackpool Junior Dance Festival

Dates: 6 April to 12 April

Time: All day events at the Empress Ballroom, Winter Gardens

Age Range: All ages. Watch the world’s best young ballroom and Latin dancers compete.

 

Kings & Queens of Rock, Pop & Roll

Date: Opening night Wednesday 8 April

Time: 7:30 pm at Central Pier Show Bar

Age Range: All ages. A cabaret style show featuring tributes to Elvis, Freddie Mercury, and Elton John.

 

Alfie Boe

Date: Saturday 25 April
